The pipe organ at Our Lady of Refuge was removed in 2007 to allow repair of damage to the organ chamber walls. As of July 2011, the parish has raised $150,432 of the total $215,402 cost of a necessary thorough organ restoration and reinstallation. A.R. Schopp’s Sons, Inc., has carried out most of the restoration work, and Quimby Pipe Organs, Inc., has been contracted to reinstall the instrument.
